This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through Mathimatikos.xyz. All payments are processed and refunds are handled by Revolut, our payment provider.
1. EU Consumer Protection Rights
Under European Union consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing a reason. This cooling-off period begins on the date of purchase. During this period, you may request a full refund by contacting us directly.
2. Refund Eligibility and Process
Refunds are available under the following conditions:
- Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the original purchase date
- Refunds are available for both initial subscriptions and renewal charges
- You do not need to provide a specific reason for the refund
- Your subscription must not have been terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
Refunds are processed through Revolut. Mathimatikos.xyz does not store credit card information. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days and will be returned to the original payment method.
3. Automatic Renewals and Cancellations
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, depending on your chosen plan) unless canceled.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. After cancellation:
- You will retain full access to all subscription features until the end of the current billing period
- No future charges will be made
- Your subscription will automatically downgrade to the Free tier at the end of the paid period
Refunds for automatic renewal charges are subject to the same 14-day window from the date of each charge. If you cancel within 14 days of a renewal charge, you may request a refund for that specific charge.
4. Circumstances Where Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:
- Requests made more than 14 days after the purchase or renewal date
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service (including Fair Use Policy violations)
- Partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period (outside the 14-day window)
- Requests where the service has been 'fully consumed' or extensively used (e.g., bulk downloading content, scraping, or exceeding reasonable usage limits within the 14-day period)
- Disputes over features or functionality clearly described on our pricing page at the time of purchase
We do not offer partial refunds or pro-rated refunds for cancellations made after the 14-day withdrawal period. Your subscription access will continue until the end of the paid billing period.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund within the 14-day window:

- Your registered account email address
- The order/transaction ID (found in your receipt email)
- The purchase or renewal date
- A brief explanation (optional, not required for refunds within 14 days)
We will process your refund through Revolut. This typically takes 5-10 business days.
Approved refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days from approval and will be credited to your original payment method.
6. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
